This shore diving session will consist of 1 survey dive on the seagrass bed at Weymouth Pier on the morning of the 22nd of September, a meeting time will be confirmed to divers attending nearer the day.
A great chance for scuba divers to get involved with the CSI and survey threatened seagrass habitats. The data collected will go towards a management plan for these special areas.
All training and survey equipment is provided. Volunteers must be qualified to at least PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent with 20 logged UK dives and their own third party dive insurance (more details of what’s involved can be found here: diving into science).
